I'm a former commercial banker. This experience motivates my research interest in understanding the role of financial accounting in the broader information environment. I've drawn on my professional background to develop several research projects in private lending and debt contracting.

I enjoy working with LLMs and AI. I created chat-lab.ai to share this interest and help other academics use LLMs and AI tools in their research and teaching. I also wrote a guide for new PhD students on how to use ChatGPT and generative AI tools in a PhD program.
